Angel is a 44-year-old single mother based in Matiere, New Zealand. She is a retired naturopath and a dedicated Rongoā tauira (student of traditional Māori healing), currently in her final year of study toward her Diploma in Rongoā (Level 5). Her ongoing training reflects a deep commitment to honouring traditional plant medicine and holistic wellbeing, with a view to obtaining ACC accreditation next year.
Angel works both mobile and from her home practice, offering care in a way that is accessible, personal, and grounded. Her approach is shaped by years of natural health experience, alongside her continued learning in Rongoā Māori, tikanga, and the relationship between people and the natural world.
She also serves as the Cancer Society treatment representative for Taumarunui, supporting individuals and their whānau during treatment with compassionate, culturally grounded care.
Living rurally allows Angel to remain closely connected to the whenua, where she continues to learn, harvest, and prepare plant-based remedies. Her work is guided by care, respect, and a genuine desire to support others on their wellbeing journey.
